Restoring Fiscal Responsibility

Record federal spending in recent years has created a national debt that threatens the prosperity of Americans today—to say nothing of generations to come.

Since 2009, the national debt—now $19.2 trillion—has grown by $8.6 trillion or 81 percent.

Yet despite these depressing figures, politicians in both parties refuse to act.

Unless we restore fiscal responsibility immediately, our children and grandchildren will be left with a massive tab, and a country that is much worse off.
